Profile PictureDr. Quindel Jones

Hi! My name is Dr. Quindel Jones but you can call me Quin! I'm originally from Jackson, Mississippi and I identify as a Black, queer woman. I have a Ph.D. in Systems Modeling & Analysis with a focus in Mathematical Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). My professional mission is to help reduce the health disparity gap for Black people by using mathematics to study medicine and pathology. Decreasing the health disparity gap is also my personal mission since I've lost 55 pounds since starting grad school in 2019 and create weekly content about practicing sustainable healthy habits 🌱 After 5 years of physically bullet journaling, I finally created an authentic productivity system to help guide me towards better choices every day. I created the first digital 12 week planner in 2022 to stay accountable to my new choices on the go and have since accomplished many of my vision board goals. I've learned to be more mindful and intentional with my choices through planning and documenting my life through this system - seen in the Better Choices Quarterly Planner! Hopefully the practices you implement while using this planner show you exactly how big the gap is between who you want to be and who you are today. And that *maybe* you have more control over closing that gap than you first thought.
